It’s that time of year again! Join Benchmarc Events in the fight against hunger in New York City! Our team is raising funds for Skip Lunch Fight Hunger (May 13-17), City Harvest’s annual campaign that asks New Yorkers to donate what they would normally spend on lunch to help feed New York’s hungry children and their families.
During summer months, access to free school meals may become limited, adding strain to families who already struggle to put food on the table. You can make a difference by donating today! Even a small amount helps City Harvest rescue and deliver good food for hungry children and their families.

City Harvest Holiday Party
Welcome to Best of Benchmarc! We’ll be featuring the best of our Benchmarc Events vendor partners, favorite recipes, fantastic clients and unique event venues! The events world is full of great people, places and food & drink and we want to share the best of what we see.
Our first posting is about one of our favorite clients AND favorite charities, City Harvest. City Harvest has been serving NYC for over 25 years now and is the world’s first food rescue organization, dedicated to feeding the city’s hungry men, women, and children. Chef Marc Murphy is a board member and a member of City Harvest’s Food Council.
Benchmarc Events had the privilege of catering City Harvest’s holiday party this year at their new food distribution and warehouse center in Long Island City. City Harvest drivers, warehouse employees, office employees and more were in attendance and shared in the festivities by enjoying ditch dogs, orechiette alla norcina, the Holiday Harvest cocktail and more. Thanks for letting us be a part of such a great event, City Harvest!
